Corpus Christi Museum Extends Summer Hours Through Labor Day for Extended Exploration |
Enhanced schedules offer visitors more opportunities to explore exhibits and events during cooler evening hours. |
The Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History is extending its summer hours through Labor Day, providing visitors with additional time to explore its exhibits and participate in special events.
Starting July 1, the museum will open earlier at 9 AM and close later, with weekday hours extending to 8 PM and weekend hours to 10 PM.
This adjustment aims to accommodate families, tourists, and local residents seeking engaging indoor activities during the peak summer heat.
To celebrate the extended hours, the museum is introducing a seasonal “Twilight Dive” feeding event, featuring mood lighting in select exhibits.
Additionally, evening history talks will be held on the iconic flight deck, offering visitors unique insights into the museum's collections.
Safety and convenience remain a priority, with timed-entry tickets to manage capacity and complimentary after-hours parking.
Special discounted “Sunset Passes” are also available, allowing for two visits on the same day.
By extending operating hours through Labor Day, the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History aims to provide guests with more flexibility to discover Gulf Coast history and marine life during the cooler, more comfortable evening hours. |
